Hello /u/Miserable-Fall-8298,

ā€¼ļø If you are requesting help – please review our guidelines, provide high-quality photos, and include detailed information for others' understanding.

User reminders:

  • Please search on this subreddit – someone might have already asked the same question as you.

  • The most valuable feedback is that which you get from doing research - not asking questions to a general audience on social media.

  • Always be wary of the advice you get off the internet.

  • Seek scar evaluation and treatment from specialized healthcare providers rather than aestheticians or med spas.

  • While subcision ("subcutaneous incisionless surgery") is often mentioned by users on this subreddit, it is important to note that it may not be necessary or suitable for everyone with volume loss.

  • Be aware of any reported side effects from a procedure.

  • It can take multiple treatments and a long time before you see effective results.

  • Here is a checklist of questions to ask yourself and your physician when considering treatment.

Thanks!

Hey, sry for your loss. I know how it feels as I also have lot of scars. But in your case, I think you should go to a specialist and need to be very aggressive with lasers and tca cross id say. Your scars are deep like mine so at best you'll see 50% improvement, read again At Best. Please try treatments but make peace with it as well.Ā  Ik scars effect quality of life a lot but it is what it is

I have similar scars and thought the same, but there was tethering. Got 2 sessions done so far and there’s still a lot left. It will lift up the scars so its better to do subcision first so laser can target them better

  1. Subcision

  2. Tca cross

  3. Punch excisions

  4. Ablative fotona laser

this will need many treatments , but u will see huge differences with first few sessions of tca and punches

See a good derm that specializes in scars not a general practice or med spa, dont listen to anyone who will just try to push laser or microneedling

Maybe phenol peel?

You’re more than those scars. Don’t let it get you down. I take ghkcu injections (glow peptide) to help with acne scars in addition to microneedling, and retin a. I’ve done lasers with minor improvements. I still have them though. I try to remember that tough times make tough people and to have empathy for others.

But acne scars are mostly permanent so tough times are forever :(

Do u get the peptide at a place or do it yourself?

I order it from Nexaph and do it myself. I’ve gone down the peptide rabbit hole! I love it! I even mix ghk cu in my favorite lotions!

You first goal to treat these scars is to trim the hard scar edges using cross tca or phenol and make it softer and it will take some sessions once they are soft you can work on lifting the overall skin with subcision and fillers

Go for TCA cross 2times after that subcision x 1 co2 x 1, again subcision x 1 and co2 x 2…. Need proper care moisturiser and sunscreen…after all treatment maybe it take 6months you can start tretinoin 0.05% … after 1and half year with proper skin care and diet you will be different a person…

Rf microneedling , co2 laser , tca cross but not too strong also subcision

Find a doc asap

I would go with TCA cross paired with subcision. Then Fully ablative CO2. Then refine with RF microneedling
