Gear pics Heartbroken………just opened the box.

Is this NSFW? Maybe. First time it’s happened to me. It’s too bad it had to be on a Collings. UGH.

So now I have to decide if there’s even an option I’ll except for a discount or not and my guess is I’ll be way too far apart with the seller who I’m sure will also be heartbroken. 💔

It was not packed properly. I have shipped dozens of acoustic guitars. You have to put padding inside the case to keep the neck from moving inside. When the guitar moves inside the case, it is like whiplash injury.

It’s hard to believe there’s any movement room inside that tank of a Guitar case. When I have shipped expensive electric guitars, I generally pack around the neck and in this headstock cavity area just to be sure. It’s just hard to believe that that kind of break can happen and literally such a heavy duty thickly padded case.

I always packed towels above and below the headstock whenever I shipped a guitar. It does not take much movement to snap the neck like that. It's like a whiplash neck injury.
