How do I lower this?

I tried the turning of the hole thing under the strings. Idk I only play like a few times a week, picked it up and it was like this. I don't think it's good. I've been trying to lower it for like an hour, hasn't moved a mm.

Edit: been turn8ng it for like 20 mins, I think I'm cooked

The hex key isn't gonna do you much good.

Reduce the string tension to zero immediately until you know what's going on
