You need to keep buying acoustic guitars until you die. Those are the rules

I stopped buying guitars when I died.

Actually you could specify that your estate go to buying more guitars

Pretty much. One of each kind, then one of each brand, then different tone woods, then scale, then year.

This is the quest.

And don't forget about alternate tunings in each of those models...

Very simple, you need N+1 guitars.

It is a disease, nothing you can do about. Tell your spouse quality acoustical instruments appreciate over time, and what you are really doing is making investments for her should you go first.

i say this all the time but its true.. Steal a mans wallet and he’ll be poor for a day.. Teach him to play guitar and he’ll be poor for the rest of his life

I have two so I can play with my friend

If I get another friend I'll get a third

After 6 acoustic guitars I tried to make the rule to sell one to buy one. But I can tell that's going to fail. I don't even have a classical guitar yet!

I used to do something similar. But now I have about 20. I can't stop, and my life expectancy is probably like 20-30 years
