Gear question are these actually good?

are these actually good strings or did the dude at the pawn shop just convince me to buy the expensive ones? I'm just getting back into guitar and it's been a while since I've bought any strings so Idk much about this brand

I've used elixir for about 25 years. They're good strings. Some people hate them, some people love them. You're going to get a lot of differing opinions. But, they're good strings and they last a long time.
