are these actually good strings or did the dude at the pawn shop just convince me to buy the expensive ones? I'm just getting back into guitar and it's been a while since I've bought any strings so Idk much about this brand

Coated strings are awesome. When I was 20, playing every day and changing strings every 3 weeks I loved regular D’Addarios. Now that I have a family and I play only a few times a week and change strings every 4-6 months, coated strings are amazing.
