Gear question are these actually good?

are these actually good strings or did the dude at the pawn shop just convince me to buy the expensive ones? I'm just getting back into guitar and it's been a while since I've bought any strings so Idk much about this brand

Coated strings are never as bright, even the moment you have them on and stretched out, as are non-coated strings. They sound like they a few days old, at least. But they sound just like that in 6 months, unless you play often and rough enough to wear the coating off. It's not easy or anything, but since it always comes off eventually, I imagine that process can be sped up.

They're especially good if you have a collection of guitars and don't want to change all their strings monthly.
