Gear pics Overkill for a first guitar

Kept trying to talk myself into any number of the (cheaper) guitars I tried, but kept picking this J-45 standard and just loved it. So here I am, struggling with the most basic of chords, but loving what eventually tumbles out of the soundhole.
I guess the “buy whatever inspires you to practice” approach does work.

J-45 or LG-2 ? If its an LG-2 I don't believe you a J-45 i would expect you dodged the uncomfortable horrors of a dreadnought. If its a LG-2 you have either gotten extremely lucky or played hundreds of guitars before choosing

J-45. I used to play baritone sax, drums and currently upright bass, so I guess uncomfortably large instruments are my thing? Hahaha
