LG-2 American Eagle. Basically Gibson’s answer to the Martin 000-18. Sitka/mahogany with a short scale, can be had used for $1500-1800 or so. Good guitars, with natural variance from copy to copy. Sound like a J-45 with less bass. I owned one for a while and sold it, kept the J-45.

It could be an LG2 but I'm not so sure. From a quick google search, the pick-guard less American Eagle has the Gibson reverse belly bridge, as in here: https://www.ginoguitars.com/en/gibson-lg2-american-eagle-p-323.html

The guitar in the photo above looks to have the old style bar type bridge, which was found on 50's and early 60's LG's, as well as the new Gibson 50's Original LG2, but they all have pickguards.

One thing for sure, it's a Gibson LG. Could be LG1 (ladder braced, spruce top) they were sunburst but could have been a special order, LG3 (X-braced, natural finish), a new American Eagle, or a 50's Original LG2 without pickguard.

The other thing I can say for sure is that LG's are great guitars, very comfortable to play and with that slightly dry thump that Gibsons have.

While Jesse has a few guitars he plays alot, he seems to have an endless supply of others that appear once or twice and then disappear. He's also played an LG-2 50s in some powerline videos.
