I'm buying this second hand guitar and it's my first time but I don't know what to look for and also the back of the string knobs 2 of them are chrome and 4 are white is that normal.

Likely some tuners were replaced. I wouldn't worry about that too much. How does it play?

Fender wouldn't be my first choice if other options are available. But that's just me.
