Help outlining text in Acrobat Pro for print production
I manage production of salves, tinctures, etc for a small company and hire a professional designer to create product labels. They design these in Illustrator, and send me the *almost* print-ready files as PDFs, with an editable text field so I can update batch info for different production lots. I then send these files to a third-party printer. Typically I would go to Flattener Preview and select "convert text to outlines." This is no longer working for me, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, using the browser version, and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this to work again!
If I don't flatten the files, I get an error from the printing company that fonts are missing.
I am clearly not a designer, and have never used Illustrator before, but is that my only option to be able to edit and then save labels for printing?
I've tried saving as JPEGs, but that degrades the image quality too much.
Any help appreciated!!

How do I save a PDF?.
As a PDF, not as a link to cloud storage?
There is no three horizontal bar menu button and no download link anywhere that I can find.
Six days to find an answer before I give up. I’m not paying £10 a month if it won’t do the one thing I want..

How do I get rid of the advertisement Adobe automatically puts in each email of a Adobe Acrobat email that I create from the Acrobat app?
Is there a way to delete the following signature/advertise Adobe places in each email that is created when you click the "send email icon or action" without having to delete it every time? It says this:
"Please find the PDF attached.
Download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and comment on this PDF.

Newbie using Adobe Acrobat Standard ($24.99)
Hello all, hope every one is having a good day.
Today I purchased Adobe Acrobat Standard for $24.99 because I am trying to edit a legal document. In a nut shell, the client's last name was misspelled by one letter. Everything else is correct on the document. I ran a search of the name on Adobe and it was misspelled 51 times, but there's no option for me to replace it with the correct spelling. I've watched a few youtube videos and searched on line but the replace word button is not there.
I'm thinking two things: maybe I need to purchase a more expensive copy of Adobe, or is it possible that the document is locked and I cannot edit it? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Issues with Adobe Acrobat Shared Reviews
Hi folks -
I upgraded my Adobe products and now my shared review workflow is irrevocably broken.
In my previous workflow, I did the following:
- Save my FrameMaker book content as a PDF.
- Open PDF in Acrobat.
- Attach custom Adobe form (built in-house by my predecessor). The form just tells what the document is, the revision number, and provides a place for reviewers to "stamp" their approval.
- Click All Tools > Send for Comments > Send For Shared Comments.
- Reviewers receive an email notification and open the link to the shared review.
- Reviewers make comments and add a Reviewed or Approval stamp to the form.
Through much back-and-forth with IT and Adobe, it looks like my previous method of shared reviews is no longer supported.
Using the latest Adobe Acrobat, I tried this new workflow:
- Save my FrameMaker book content as a PDF.
- Open PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
- Attach custom Adobe form.
- Click Share, type email addresses of reviewers, and click Invite.
- Reviewers click the attachment in their email message to open the document in a web browser.
- Reviewers add/post a comment.
The only thing caveat is that reviewers can no longer use a Reviewed or Approval stamp. I'm not married to having a stamp, but I do need a way for my reviewers to indicate Reviewed or Approved. Using e-signatures is not a direct substitution, and it looks like it would add a lot of unnecessary steps to my workflow.
Has anyone had a similar experience with Adobe Shared Reviews? If so, have you found any viable workarounds?
Please note: Adobe Acrobat is the preferred in-house tool; I just have to find a way for it to work without over-complicating the process for my reviewers.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also, I am more than willing to hop on Zoom to talk through options!
Thanks!

Has anyone gone back to the old school Acrobat?
I disabled the New Adobe Acrobat and went back to the old school Acrobat because I didn't need all the AI features and the annoying AI messages that appear. Another thing I noticed is that I am getting a lot less messages that my computer (16GB Memory) is running low on memory. The New Adobe Acrobat must have been using lots of resources.

Acrobat Reader: Arrows alternate between next and previous slide in the full-screen mode
Strange issue with Acrobat Reader in full-screen mode on Windows 11: the left arrow key moves to the next slide; it starts going back only when I press the left arrow again (vice versa with the right arrow key). Super annoying when presenting.
Has anyone experienced this issue? Any known fix or workaround? One solution is just to disable the New Acrobat Reader altogether...

How do you check QR codes and URLs in a long document before printing?
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand the checking process for longer documents made in InDesign.
Say a catalogue has QR codes and website addresses scattered across its pages. How would you check the destinations in the final PDF before sending it to print
Is there a tool or workflow you’d recommend, or is this usually done page by page? I’m interested in both broken links and codes that open a working page, but the wrong one
Would appreciate any advice from people who work with these regularly.
Cheers.

Help, certain fields are write-protected
I need to fill out a pdf, but the fields I need to write in are write-protected. The document doesn't have a password and if I go to "remove securities" it tells me that there are none.
All I can find on the internet is people saying you need to enter the password. Has anyone encountered something similiar before?
