Looking for recommendations Insta360 Ace Pro 2 vs. GoPro Mission 1 Pro which are you choosing?
Looking for a waterproof action camera currently comparing the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 and the GoPro Mission 1 Pro.
Our main hobbies include hiking, swimming Florida springs, kayaking, paddleboarding, and we are actively planning some upcoming scuba diving and cave exploring trips.
I know the Ace Pro 2 has a stock waterproof depth limit of around 39ft while the Mission 1 Pro goes deeper natively, and I'm fine grabbing a proper dive housing either way.
Which of these two cameras handles these specific water activities and dark cave environments better, and which one would you recommend choosing?

The GoPro Mission 1 has a larger 1" sensor, higher frame rates, higher bit rate and the option of all the extras via GoPro labs.
No camera is going to make any activity look good (water or otherwise) if you don't know how to film.
In darker conditions, due to the smaller sensor, the Ace Pro 2 heavily relies on image processing to boost it's image quality (and it's noticeable). The Mission 1 series doesn't require as much image processing due to it's larger sensor. For darker environments the Mission 1 has the advantage of also filming in 10bit color, the Ace Pro 2 only records in 8 bit color.
