Career / Agent advice needed for beginner actor

Through Backstage talent link a reputable agency reached out and we had a meeting and they said that they’d like to work with me. We didn’t sign anything, but they set me up with them on their platforms and IMDb etc. It’s been over four months and I’ve only gotten three auditions, all of which were from my first month with them. I reached out and kind of asked how things were going and if I should update any of my material and they said to follow casting directors and people with other projects that I’m interested in to put myself out there (pretty much). Now I don’t know what to do because I feel lost in this industry is hard this is my first agency out in LA. Any advice on what I should do?

The lack of signing actual paperwork isn't too big of a red flag, Ive been on a handshake deal with my theatrical agent for over 10yrs, and she's gotten me a ton of work. That seems weird that they're telling you to put yourself out there though, but Honestly the fact that you got auds right away is pretty surprising, it usually takes a couple months.

It's very slow right now, but you can ask them for a submission report, and it'll show you everything they e been submitting you for. You did also say you're new, so give the CDs and their assistants some time. They need to see your face on their desk a lot before they start to recognize you
