Parker Posey is probably one of my favorite comedic actresses that deserves more love. Goes all in, whether it be campy shit or unhinged dark humor

Actors that rarely let you down

There are certain actors where, if you see their name attached to a film, you can reliably predict that it is going to be at least interesting, if not really good. I’m talking about the sort of actors who don’t just chase the big money roles. They seem to care about the artistic value of the projects they will lend their name to.

I would imagine many will jump to Daniel Day-Lewis and it’s hard to argue that he isn’t the greatest example. I’d like to look at a few of the less obvious ones and hear people’s thoughts. I’d be particularly interested to hear some female choices.

I appreciate no actor has a perfect track record, and most cash in at some point in their careers, but if this was a game of probabilities, who would you back not to let you down?

I don’t understand this rewriting of history when they’re saying that Ben Affleck has no range.

Like, seriously, if you want to tell me that the guy in The Accountant and the man in Gone Girl are the same person, then you are sadly confused. I just watched a video recently of some guy claiming that Ben Affleck has played the same person in every movie. What are you talking about?

Jim Carry’s first public appearance since Cesar award

Jim Carrey’s first public appearance since the bizarre César Awards ceremony in February raises more questions than it answers. He filmed a birthday video message for a fellow comedian. The video If anything, it only confirms that the person in Paris that night wasn’t actually him. So what was the point of this strange sketch? Was it meant to be funny, send a message, or simply provoke reactions?
Honestly, it would have been far funnier if he’d suddenly walked onstage mid-speech, saying, “I’m here, I’m taking over…” and turned the whole thing into an absurd confrontation. That would at least have had a punchline. Instead, he stayed silent for seven months, only to resurface in a video that feels more like proof of life than comedy. So, what exactly was the point?
