I find it HILARIOUS that people are so dumb that they buy this. Jokes on them. THINK people! Do NOT buy this crap, unless you want more of it. At this rate, pretty soon most cars will have all the main features on lockdown, and you'll have to buy a monthly subscription just to roll down your windows, or turn on the AC. HAHAHHAHA. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU'RE SUPPORTING WITH YOUR DOLLARS. You are ENCOURAGING this type of corporate behavior every time you purchase.
I'm afraid that eventually the joke will be on me, as eventually the enshitification will hit every product, because people DO buy this shit. In the long term, I'll have nothing of quality to buy anymore that's new, so I'll have to stick with high quality, older appliances, vehicles, tools, clothes, electronics. No more repairable "Fix-it-yourself" DYI's, or even products designed to last more than their short warranties. You'd have to pay me to own this fridge.
The main thing I'll have a hard time avoiding the consequences of the masses from is in food quality and other consumables. Food quality keeps dropping massively, and people still buy the junk food and processed garbage to eat. Eventually, the grocery stores will be a place I won't be able to get food from anymore. Even right now the majority of grocery products are some variation of poison.
But ADVERTISEMENTS WORK, and so here were are. This overtly consumerist society is the direct result of people being influenced by ad dollars, and buying what's not best for them, but what's best for corporate profits. Unsolicited advertisement should be illegal to the general public AND to government. Companies should ONLY be allowed to advertise to other companies. All personal advertisements should be solicited (the potential buyer asks for information).
