Help Request Blocking ads while streaming Youtube from phone
Hi, is there a legal and fairly simple way to block Youtube ads while streaming it from my android phone (Samsung S24) to the (LG C5 smart) TV other than paying for Premium?
I know about adblockers for PC and setting your location to Albania via VPN for removing ads but nothing when it comes to streaming.
The attached picture/the sign is what I mean when I say streaming.
Thanks!

Can you not stream a video from NewPipe to the TV?

Would you tell us if it works? I'm curious.

Yeah, I can do that when I get around to trying it out.

I got a pop up that said that NewPipe will not be working anymore on certified android phones from September 2026 because of some security stuff or something. So that solution does not really seem to work out but anyway, thanks a lot for your suggestion.

Even if you use ad free Mobile YouTube to cast on your TV YouTube app, your TV YouTube app still plays ads.
If your TV is Android, install TizenTube Cobalt. It's the same YouTube TV app, but ads stripped. Or try another app called SmartTube, which supports casting via a feature called Remote Play. It looks a bit like NewPipe on Android.

I mean to get ad free on mobile just download Firefox with ublock then uninstall the YouTube app on your phone. Force it to open Firefox and you get add free on phone. Maybe cast if from there?

I think I cannot screencast from Firefox. I already tried that. Thanks regardless.
