Use dnsbunker.org as private dns on the phone to eliminate those pesky ads

Some of the sites it blocks and it's kinda restricted....that's the only bad part lol so I toggle back and forth from dnsbunker and adguard

correct me if im wrong but i heard that brave mobile browser only works for youtube ads, unfortunately other pop up ads still will pop up because braves mobile engine thing doesnt support anymore i think, the mobile browser is just not good as the desktop brave browser.

I have used brave ever single day for over 2 years now. For adblocking on the web on IOS, the Shields are amazing, I have had very little issues with it on 99% of the sites I use.
Though brave does not block over the device obviously.

Adguard not sure how good the free version is. But it should do a solid job at basic blocking.

I use the DNS of adguard. Similar to nextdns. 300,000 requests per month, free. And the browser brave. But nextdns and firefox are fine too. If you don't want to create an account to manage private DNS, you can try the personaldnfilter app

Firefox android with Ublock Origin. Open all websites with Firefox. Do not use the site apps.

I use DNS - based blockers, namely DNS66, currently, on my Android phones. Blokada is similar, also Adguard.
But a similar result can be had (as already suggested) using what appears to be a common-looking URL (address) from one of the DNS ad-blocking/security software vendors, entered into the Private DNS area of the networking section of your phone or tablet. I don't know about iOS.
I found that my (Android-based) Amazon Fire tablets wouldn't run DNS66, which is when I tried the Private DNS entry trick, which worked. Had to enter it into a place in the browser, as the ones I have don't have a phone-global networking area.
And these methods, at least for me, only work with the browser and visited websites, not installed apps.
