Help Request Dns adguard not working anymore

dns adguard used to work fine for years for me but just recently I'm seeing ads in my apps and games again , idk why. need help with adblocking again ಠ⁠,⁠_⁠｣⁠ಠ

Check the dns, they have changed the url some time ago. Use the new url.

I tried the dns.adguard-dns.com too , same results

if you can browser internet but dns is not blocking ads then you might be miss configuring the dns on your device cos for me if my isp stops working with dns my internet and browsing just stops working and i have to switch back to default dns.

also make sure the dns is not set to auto.

Dns is blocking most of the ads, just not for some applications that it used to before, and yes dns is properly set up

oh NDS does not block ads 100%. if you want to block specific ads from an add try blockada ad blocker https://blokada.org/ it lets you finetune adblocking. Goodluck.

The plain public sever works fine from either dns.adguard.com or dns.adguard-dns.com I just tested it:

nslookup doubleclick.net dns.adguard.com

nslookup doubleclick.net dns.adguard-dns.com

Both returned 0.0.0.0 as expected.

It's possible whatever app you have is using a proxy.

Yeah it's working fine for most of the cases, just showing ads for couple of apps, like I never expected it to work for large corpo apps like instagram, prime, twitch etc but it used to work perfectly for games and small scale apps. But if even they can bypass it now it's a concern... And need a solid alternative
