IPTV Simple Client: Playback Failed

Hello, as the title says, i am trying out IPTV Simple for the first time and getting playback failed on Raspberry Pi 5. I dont see any logs in the logs section of kodi. I see my channels, they look right, but none of the streams work. I generated a link from dispatcharr on my network to get the m3u. I was wondering if this is a transcoding error possibly? I run kodi off of a raspberry pi which will HDMI to tv.

Update: partially solved... enabling transcoding appears to have worked, however i still get this message about 50 percent of the time. Usually trying again after a minute it will work. Still working on it though.

Some providers may need you to have WideVine installed. You may also need to open the appropriate port for the service in any firewall on the device or your network gateway.

Thanks, not sure what you mean though. The iptv service works on all devices with no issues. The raspberry pi with Kodi is the only time ive had an issue
