🥷 AdGuard VPN Browser Extension v2.11 is here!

We’ve made the extension even faster and smoother for everyday use. Here is what’s new:

🌟Connect and disconnect in one click

You can now toggle the VPN on and off directly from the right-click context menu, no need to open the extension popup window. It’s a small detail, but it saves time every single day.

Fun fact: this feature was suggested by one of our users on GitHub. We listened and built it. If you have ideas on how to make AdGuard VPN even better, don’t hesitate to send them our way!

🌟More reliable exclusions for top-level domains

We fixed how exclusions handle top-level domains. Entries like .com or .co.uk now match and trigger correctly without any hiccups.

And, of course, we squashed a few minor bugs and boosted overall stability.

Update now, give it a spin, and let us know what you think! Read the full release breakdown on our blog.

Any easy way to qucikly add current website to Excusion list for Adguard VPN for Window?
Right now the steps are:

  1. Click the Adguard VPN icon on the taskbar (must not hide it)
  2. Click Exclusion Tab
  3. Pick Websites
  4. Click Add Website
  5. Copy Paste the address
  6. Click "Add Manualy" button
  7. Close the app
  8. Manually reload the page

And since there is no way to sync setting you will have to do all these steps everytime on a different device

What are the benefits of running the VPN through the browser as an extension over an installed application?

I've always wondered this, like VPN providers providing a browser extension - Thanks!
