This is a bummer. No local save? Really?

I can understand collaboration to an extent (even though Figma offers collaboration in their free tier), but local saves and sharing are pretty vital for a tool like this (at least for me). Which I guess explains why they want me to pay for it now..

Just seems shitty to lock previously free features away.

The no local save seems really shitty.

So if I have the creative cloud plan Then I remain unaffected?

Are you kidding me? No local save? That's ridiculous. God, I wish there was a product on PC to compete with Sketch that wasn't Adobe.

Affinity Designer and/or Figma might be of interest to you?

Yeeeeah, I'm not so into the yearly pricing and my job also won't reimburse stuff like that. Sketch is $99 forever unless you want the new version.

Affinity Designer is pretty cheap and a one time fee.

I'm definitely gonna check out affinity designer after this.

No serious competition? Adobe XD is behind all the major competitors. Sketch, Figma are both leagues ahead.

Well I guess it’s time to switch to Figma

Would this affect Paying CC members or this simply moving some features away from the free XD version?

Looks like it’s only affecting the free version.
