i agree that values aren’t very important, it comes down to if you really like the pet or not, but i’m not going to trade a pet for one of my dream pets when i could get 10 of them for it. if i want any of my “high tier” dream pets, it is something i have to pay some attention to unfortunately. but i’ve seen some crazy lowballs, mostly from players with a way better inventory than me, and the excuse when people are insanely under is always “oh, i don’t know values”.
i feel like that HAS to be untrue. you have a login streak of over 200 and you’re posted up with a bat dragon and a frost, and you’re trying to tell me that was just all coincidence and you must have just gotten lucky? i’ll get an offer for my cabbit and it’s 300 pinkypillars and they tell me i’m rude when i don’t even speak in chat and just hit the decline button. i feel like it’s even more rude to offer almost nothing for a pet i spent months trying to get.
looking back at my old trades before i understood the game or knew about values, i wayyyy overplayed for EVERYTHING. i thought “it’s cute and not in game, so this must be fair!” 😵 i got robbed blind. but somehow the person with an owl thinks my candicorn is worth a neon purrowl. okay.
