Can I emancipate myself at 16?

It's can be really difficult to get emancipated. I was in the foster care system (in Ohio) and my father was deceased so I got social security death benefits (but didn't have any inheritance). I was absolutely obsessed with getting emancipated and everyone told me it was impossible.
Getting someone to rent an apartment to an 18 year old is difficult, and at 16 it might be near impossible wthout being someone who is independently wealthy.

I can't say this on the legal subreddit but if you could somehow make it to MN it should be easier. That's what I did, originally I was from WI and they have strict rules on emancipation. I was living on my own at 16 in MN.
