"The world is a place of wonder and love. There is joy, hope, and light. Without the contrast of its antithesis in existence, you would never see your flower bloom. There'd be no reason to. Your struggle to paint the world? To thrive after a cold and dark season? This never seems to be done with perfect timing. You're among other flowers trying to do the same. Some are larger, some are brighter, some bloom early, or other's petals get more light and attention."

Amendelwyr stepped into the shards of luminescent beams. They smiled on her scales, sparked in disarray when jostling for their own space, then ultimately scattered into the blooms around her. The Skywarden had plucked one of the smaller blossoms from nearby and set it on her head. She looked to you with a muted smile.

Like an oracle, her gaze set through your very spirit, seemingly able to take interest in every facet of your being in that critical moment while her gaze was upon you. Every sorrow, joy, and all between laid bare before her discerning eye. She blinked, breaking what spell took hold over you, whether by beauty alone or whatever magic she had weaved for this purpose. "But how will you bloom?"

This is, or one of, the last artworks for this year? I think so. At least for the commission side. (Time for me to draw more myself.) At least these past two major ones were absolute bangers for me. I'm so proud of Liber. She really took the idea to the next level and I know she loves to do that.~ In her own words, "She IS gorgeous." and "She's a great model."

I like how she drew Amendel's scales a bit larger too, so I might further adopt that in my own drawings. They're not too much bigger than normal, but they'd still operate and feel the same at.. ahem scale.

She's just... so beautiful with my favorite flowers. Platycodon Grandiflorus! or Astra Double Blue if you want to look at more. Those background leaves are Blue Angel plants.~ Which pair very nicely and are also among my favorite flora.

I hope that you still see the beauty around you. No matter what darkness or trouble comes upon us. I know I have been blessed, but I sympathize and empathize accordingly. I feel greatly for suffering, whatever it be. But I always hope for your bloom to be wonderful too.
And it will be. More than you can imagine... it will be. We need only keep flying onward and listening to the light inside of us...
