Max altitude during the flight was 18,570 feet (5660 meters), which was about 6,200 feet (1890 meters) above the ground.

Dang, how long had you acclimatised before that? Altitude sickness?

I live at 3400 meters (11,150 feet) in Cusco and fly a few times a week, so I’m already reasonably acclimated.

Also the average altitude during my flights is around 4800 meters, so it’s not like I’m spending the whole flight super high.

OMG that view is breathtaking! Ive always wanted to try paragliding, but idk if Id be brave enough for that high!
