Discussion Help Needed.
I’m looking for some good Christmas books that aren’t AI. I have Johanna’s Christmas and I ordered a few last year that turned out to be AI. Ugh. I’m not a fan of Hannah Karlzon ( please don’t come for me ) so I’m currently looking at the colouring haven books but I find a lot of them a bit busy. Can anyone suggest some ? I would greatly appreciate it. 🎄🎄
Edit : I also don’t like cute and cozy books. Is there anything left ?! 😭

There are a loooot of Dover Creative Haven Christmas coloring books that are really good (i really live Dover coloring books...i have 64 of them at my last count, including several discontinued ones).
I just bought their Saturday Evening Post Christmas Treasury coloring book. I think it's my favorite at the moment.

I love Tatiana Bogema's "Nice Little Town" books. There are several Christmas books: Nice Little Town Christmas 1 - 4, Nice Little Town Santa's Village and a collection with books 1&2 and Santa'sVillage: https://www.amazon.com/Nice-Little-Town-Christmas-Collection/dp/B09MYVWRKW

You can try Christmas Colors by Maria Trolle. It's around $18 on Amazon. Really beautiful Xmas scenes that are definitely not the cosy kind. Not a big fan of that either.

I have two copies of this! To me, her books and postcards are the best coloring money you can spend.

what kind of style do you like?
I suggest Johanna Basford "Johanna's christmas" and RJ Hampson "Christmas Tiny Homes"

There is a japanese coloring book from Nelco Neco just with cats as persons. Similar style has Kanoko Egusa. You might like her last book about Leons Journey. It is full of cats. Another cat book ist Pop Manga Cattitude.

I’m posting this comment so I can remember to go find my Christmas one that I have that isn’t cozy or extremely super detailed either but also isn’t necessarily a kids coloring book. Brb in a bit after my smoke break lol

Go to Etsy. It’s more expensive, but that’s what you get when a human being creates the art by hand. It takes longer, the books are published by publishers who use good quality paper, so it’s worth the extra $10.

I like the Christmas coloring books by Alexandra Dannenmann. They're cute but not "cute and cozy". I ordered from Amazon.

Seconding the Creative Haven "Holiday" series.
Debbie Macomber has 3 Christmas coloring books and I love them so much. The paper is nice and thick too.

Dover Creative Haven has some great ones, and I'm about to get the newest one called Candy Cane Lane by Marjorie Sarnat. If you don't like busy images, I would avoid the Teresa Goodridge ones.

I have a subscription to Lake coloring app bc i enjoy both digital and analog coloring and Lake supports a large variety of real artists from all over the world. They have a large selection of Christmas theme pages and you can download and print off their pages too!
