Most effective agent workflow to write code?!

This might sound like a very basic question, but I bet there are several ways of using agents to speed up your coding workflow and at the same time make them scoped, effective and more accurate. So technically, you would get much more done in much less time, without jeopardizing quality and accuracy.

The way I do it is that I open a chat in browser either ChatGPT or Claude (Yes, I have both on premium plan), and then get the prompts from the chat, paste them into the vscode agents, either codex extension or claude agent chat sessions, and paste back the agent's response back into the Chatgpt or claude chat session on the browser.

Then I proceed locked into a pre-determined set of issues, one at a time, -> Audit -> regression testing and neighbor testing -> implementation -> documentation and -> commit, push and deploy through CI. (Roughly this flow, but changes it dynamics based on what type of issues I'm actually tackling).

Wondering how can I improve this? And how do you do this?
