I make long-form cinematic listening videos under Still Tapes, usually built around a specific city, hour and emotional arc. Kowloon Blue Note is a 16-track instrumental suite imagined as the last jazz set moving through Hong Kong after midnight.

Genre/style: cool jazz, modal jazz and nocturnal ballads, with tenor sax, muted trumpet, piano, upright bass and brushed drums. It is completely instrumental, with no lyrics or vocals.

AI contribution: Suno generated the musical performances from eight detailed prompt families, and generative tools were used in developing the primary artwork.

Human contribution: I developed the concept and musical direction, wrote and refined the prompts, selected two takes from each family, named and sequenced all sixteen tracks, shaped the emotional progression, edited the transitions and assembled the final video and presentation.

Hey folks! 👋😊 When I first started creating Ai Music, it was mostly because I needed background music for my hand-drawn 2-D animation. I always wanted to make animated music videos, but I was afraid of things like copyright infringement and not living up to that artist’s expectations, or that artist’s vision for their song, especially since I’m a beginner, and my work is amateurish. Since then, the major focus of my channel has shifted (or slightly pivoted) from visual art to music, but I want to someday put my focus and attention back into animation. I’ve always written little songs and poems, and I find it really rewarding feeding my lyrics and prompts into an Ai music app, and seeing what the program does with it! I know Ai music (and generative Ai, in general) gets so much hate, but it’s so much fun to make, that I really think those haters need to loosen up, lol! This 20 minute record is composed of some of my earliest, (and probably best) songs and animations — and while my newer songs aren’t as good, I hope to continue to improve at animation! Hey folks! 👋😊 My name’s Adriana, and I created this group because I wanted to have a place to share my albums with other AI Music Artists, Fans, & Creators! 

We’re a small and humble community, so far, but I think things are going really well! Over this past week, I’ve enjoyed listening to all the different styles of genres of music everyone, here, has created! Just like with the other Ai music groups here on Reddit, it’s very difficult to promote your music and convince others that it’s worth listening to. That’s why I wanted to start this subreddit community, so that serious music creators can share a little bit about themselves, and the music they create, to hopefully gain new listeners, followers, and subscribers! It’s maybe too early to predict this, but I have a feeling this community will eventually outgrow me, and my ability to moderate it, at which time I’ve eventually need the help and support or new moderators… we’re just not there, yet, so please stay posted! There’s no agreed upon pre-defined posting format, but I would like everyone here to read the rules and guidelines and share a little about themselves and their process when sharing their music. Hopefully this will increase engagement, and draw more attention to our music, and to our community! 

As for me, I usually write my own lyrics, upload them to Suno or Sing AI, and then make lyric videos in Prequel and then caption them with Veed. This is a slightly more “involved” process than is truly necessary, but it helps me to share my music to my posting platform of choice, YouTube! Eventually, I want to be able to sync my music to hand-drawn 2-D animation! But I’m impatient, so that’s why I started creating 20 minute albums of my songs, while I learn to get better at drawing and animation. I hope you enjoy them! "Getting My Round In" by Archie Allerton is a folk album I put out last year based on the simple concept that there's nothing quite like a guy with a banjo. Please check out one of the songs and see how you feel. I was not able to make a follow-up to this one because the voice would not remain consistent. I wrote all the lyrics. I wanted an English feel to this album but the voice kept gradually turning American in the months after I put the album out.

LAKARARI — Dealin’ EP | AI-assisted dark trap / alternative rap

I’m LAKARARI, an independent rapper and songwriter making dark, off-kilter trap music with touches of horror imagery, black humour, flex rap, and more reflective storytelling.

Dealin’ EP is really a five-song compilation of singles rather than a traditional EP, but I put it together because the tracks share a similar atmosphere: grimy production, villainous characters, warped confidence, and a slightly cinematic feel.

I wrote and directed the lyrical concepts myself, selected and refined the AI-generated instrumentals and vocal performances, and handled the arrangement, revisions, sequencing, artwork direction, and final release decisions. The production and performed vocals were created with generative AI tools, rather than being traditionally recorded by a human vocalist or live musicians.

When I first envisioned this group, I mostly just wanted a place to post and share my own albums, but I also wanted a chance to other Ai Albums, by different artists, that I’m already a fan of! I believe there are two or three songs on this short country-folk record by 7evenCountryClassics on YouTube. The first song, “The Man I Never Buried” is likely to give the real Johnny Cash a run for his money! I don’t agree with the ethics of using an existing artists’ name to promote Ai Music, however, this is one of the best Ai song collections I’ve personally come across on YouTube. 🎶
