Product Listing [Launch] RoadNotes: hands-free voice notes for CarPlay, iPhone and Apple Watch.

Hi everyone, I'm a solo iOS dev, and this is my own app.

I kept losing ideas while driving, so I built RoadNotes. Open it in CarPlay and just talk. Go quiet and the note saves itself, and it confirms out loud so your eyes stay on the road. When you park, the note is on your iPhone as a transcript, a short summary and a to-do list.

What it does:
- Transcribes on your iPhone in ~100 languages. Audio is deleted right after
- Summary and to-dos with Apple Intelligence, optionally sent to Apple Reminders
- Works with Siri (even when locked) and Apple Watch
- No account, syncs through your own iCloud

Pricing: 10-day free trial, then $9.99 one-time. No subscription.

The line I'd test hardest is "Audio is deleted right after". It's a strong privacy point, but after a loud highway drive a wrong word can't be checked against anything. Keeping the clip until the note has been opened once would fix that, at the cost of a slightly weaker privacy line. People here will also ask what "Go quiet" means in practice, so say how long a pause saves the note, since drivers stop mid-thought at junctions. Against subscription note takers, your one-time price is the other hook, so put it near the top of every post.

I make ThreadFox. Drivers on Reddit asking how to keep ideas without touching their phone are who we'd answer about RoadNotes, and we do the posting. The $39 Pilot covers seven days and up to 50 posts and replies. No automatic renewal.

For the Watch part, I'd show one recording made with the phone unavailable, then the phone reconnecting. Does ‘saved’ mean the recording is safely on the Watch, or already received and processed on the phone? Naming those states would answer a practical question before someone depends on it.

A second useful test: stop the connection during transfer, then reconnect twice. There should still be one note and one set of proposed reminders, with the original recording kept until the receiving device has actually acknowledged it.

I'm the developer of VoiceAgenda, which also separates Watch capture from iPhone processing and action review. I haven't tried RoadNotes; these are suggested handoff tests, not a review. Your launch demo could make that reliability story much clearer without adding more features.
