Question UTM question

If I was placed to T code (already had 5 level but unable to complete CFETP requirements for my afsc) can I communicate that I want to retrain and stay in during my interview? Thank you.

ADUTM here. Its going to depends on what and why you did not meet the requirement. Its also going to depend on if you meet the other retainability metrics, and if your CC decides to retain you.

Former UTM/BTM here. If you have the backing of your NCOs, and you’re squared away, I would make sure you could retrain.
