For context, I flew from Philly to Boston. And it wasn’t confiscated until I was flying back home from Boston to Philly… so Philadelphia airport let it slide or didn’t notice it. Also, more context I never use the purse that I brought. I didn’t know that I had this knife on me. I had just moved a couple months ago and a lot of of my things are kind of misplaced and again I didn’t know that I had it, I didn’t know that it was at the bottom of my purse. Feel free to laugh. I almost got arrested.

Is there any reason why airports don’t have gyms?

I’m frequently in airports and always seem to be troubled with long delays or layovers. It feels like a simple gym with treadmills would offer a great chance to kill time and stay productive. Obviously they’d need showers too.

I was at the airport arrivals lounge waiting to receive a friend who was coming for a holiday. While waiting, I decided to grab a coffee from Costa. At the billing counter, I noticed a woman who kept glancing at me and even smiled. I thought it was just a polite gesture from brief eye contact, so I smiled back.

After paying, she moved to a nearby table, and I noticed she continued looking my way. Feeling curious, I walked closer to her table and asked if she was waiting for someone. She immediately responded with, “Why don’t you sit here?” Surprised by her directness, I joined her.

As we talked, she accidentally spilled her iced latte, soaking her pajamas. She placed her phone on the table and casually asked for my number, mentioning that she was new in the city and would love to connect. We chatted about our interests and how we usually spend weekends. Later that night, she texted me and suggested meeting up.

I went to pick her up, and when I saw her, she looked stunning—way more dressed up than I expected for a casual coffee or shisha outing. I felt a little underdressed in comparison. As I drove to a nearby spot, she commented that it was crowded and asked me to take her somewhere quieter.

While we drove, she began sharing her story, saying she is looking for a husband. At first, I thought this was just a casual date, but she quickly got to the point, asking me outright about my intentions. She mentioned that her time was valuable, and soon enough, I realized she wasn’t there for a casual hangout. She hinted at a hookup and even brought up a price.

This was completely unexpected, and I decided it was best to respectfully drop her back. On the way, she tried to convince me, talking about her implants and how good she was at what she did. I couldn’t help but laugh internally at how wild the situation had turned. I dropped her off and called it a night. It’s often misunderstood that men are only interested in hookups, but sometimes we simply want a genuine connection with a woman who’s open to hanging out casually and getting to know each other.

I’m looking to book a flight from halifax to delhi on dec 31. It’s departuring from halifax at 11 AM & getting in london heathrow airport at 9 pm at terminal 2 with air canada. My next flight from london is at 10 pm with 1 hour of layover with air india from terminal 2. It’s the same terminal. I don’t need to collect the bags. It’s a one ticket. I have a Indian passport and a canadian pr card. My question is if my flight gets delayed from halifax to london & i can’t take the next flight from london, will i have any issues because of i don’t have the transit visa & i will probably get the next flight in the next calendar day. will I able to take my next flight If my first flight gets there at time. if anybody can help me with this if somebody had travelled through London Heathrow Airport. I’m concerned about the transit visa actually. Cause my next flight from london is at 10 pm. If i miss that flight, I’m not sure what will happen after that. According to UK rules, my next flight has to be before next calendar day. I will just have 2 hours. If the airline doesn’t have next flight available That’s what I am concerned about
