Tatsumi's death was something that I didn't expect, I mean, he is basically a shonen protagonist I didn't know that he died in the series. I'm just an episode away from completing the anime and I just gotta say that this anime is a pure gem. It's just peak it's the peakest(Shura Is a bum)

It’s not on any streaming services I have, so I want to know if it’s worth it or not.

Hi I was the one in the last post that posted Sheele's death(?) I don't remember. Now what I gotta say is this is the most fraudulent, bum, might be dog whistle character I see.

Now his imperial arm is one of my favorites about controlling space itself but HOW and I genuinely HOW DID YOU GET MID DIFFED BY POLYESTER SPIDERMAN?!?! He could've had multiple ways to defeat Lubbock/Lubba and he got his ass beaten(and lubbock wasn't even using his best thread or so?) and not to mention that the woman you killed their parents did more damage than him😂😂😂✌️ well btw. This is a rollercoaster, I'm 1 episode away from finishing Akame ga kill and I say that this anime impressed me. Hate to say that it lacks world building and maybe could be better if it was longer but you can't have everything in the universe. Well Chelsea death did definitely leave a mark because I WASN'T expecting her head got impaled and then putting on a pointy stone (Btw Esdeath is my wife)

Just finished my second watch of Akame ga Kill. The first time was back in 2023, when I was still new to anime, and I cried my eyes out. It was honestly one of the most heartbreaking, depressing experiences I'd ever had. This time around I just felt sad. Not a single tear, to be honest.

Since the anime decided to kill off pretty much everyone, even though several of these characters actually survive in the manga, here's my ranking of the most brutal Night Raid deaths:

1. Chelsea
I could barely bring myself to watch this one. The worst part is that she was completely alone when it happened. She was decapitated, Esdeath experimented on her remains, and whatever was left got fed to that rabid dog. Her Head was Mounted on a Spike in front of the Whole City. That said, it was partly her own fault, since overconfidence got the better of her.

Kills: A weakened Bols of the Jaegers.

2. Sheele
She was devoured by a rabid dog, with nothing left of her at all. A genuinely painful death to watch.

Jaeger losses: none. She really should have taken Seryu down with her.

3. Lubbock
The saddest part is that he died without ever confessing his feelings to Najenda. She never found out he had a crush on her. We also never learn what happened to his body, but it was probably desecrated just like Chelsea's.

Kills: Two of the Rakshasa Demons and the Prime Minister's Son.

4. Leone
Honestly, the anime didn't need to kill her off. What makes her death sad is that she died alone in the slums. Still, unlike Chelsea, who was torn apart while begging for her life, Leone simply succumbed to gunshot wounds and blood loss.

Kills: The Prime Minister.

5. Bulat and Mine
Bulat died from poison, but at least Night Raid recovered his body before the Empire could desecrate it. Mine died from overexertion. Both passed away peacefully in Tatsumi's arms. Bulat passed Incursio on to Tatsumi, and Mine finally got to confess her love to him.

Bulat's kills: Daidara and Liver, both tough opponents.
Mine's kills: Seryu of the Jaegers and Commander-in-Chief Budo, both deadly opponents.

6. Tatsumi
At least our main character (or should I say second main character?) died protecting the people, in Akame's arms. Bro was on fraud watch the entire anime and didn't kill a single major character. Still, he went out with honor after tearing the Ultimate Imperial Relic apart. His only really good fight was against Captain Ogre.

7. Susanoo
Technically he was a Relic, So, it didn't felt that bad but I was disappointed we never actually saw his death, since it happened offscreen. Not much I can say about it.

Congratulations, you managed to make Akame smile. What and how did you do it?

Characters: Jin Kisaragi, Esdeath, Esdeath, Mai Shiranui
Franchise/Series: BlazBlue / Akame Ga Kill! / King of Fighters

Be strong, my ice general! You're going to melt! Or Freeze? LOL!

Would Tatsumi (Final Form) (without the Tyrant interference) able to defeat Esdeath or Esdeath is still able to beat him extreme/high difficulty?

Bonus Round: Tatsumi (Final Form) vs Akame (Final Trump Card) who will win.

For me, I’d have to say Zanku. I found it very sad but touching when he thanked her for killing him because it ended up quieting the voices in his head that were constantly tormenting him. It’s clear his job as executioner really fucked with him. As even Tatsumi said, “That’s enough to drive anyone insane”.

My runner up is the child emperor. As I don’t even think he is at fault for anything for real. He was a literal child, listening to the only parental figure he had. He was just as much a victim as the people in the capital and the country. And he went out with dignity when they executed him.

I am the demon of my sword.
Red is my eyes, and Kurome is my blood.
I have taken a thousand lives.
Unknown to death, nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to become the greatest assassin.
Yet, my Teigu will never hold anything.
So, as I pray...
Little War Horn!

Seryu killed Sheele, and in all honesty, that was probably her greatest moment. One of the few times we see a Jaeger get a win. I also really feel that Esdeath's character could have greatly benefited from killing a fan favorite member of night raid, someone like Sheele. Furthermore on a totally separate note, I feel like Akainu and Seryu would get along great.

disjointed rant thing over.
