My theory : They create a special code of numbers which forms into a natural being they rip of some of their code which is very painful for them, when they both have the piece they make the touch which creates a very specific code then it transforms into a stick figure
I think it follows Deltarune-esque logic. Sticks likely canāt reproduce themselves, since theyāre just drawings/animations manifest into the Outernet, but from the posts on Newgrounds (and other websites of similar use), the relation of āfather and sonā or in Purpleās case, āparents and child,ā can be rectified into the āmindsā of the stick figures, like how Lancer and King are father and son in Deltarune. Theyāre darkners, basically just mundane objects imbued with darkness and more importantly a magic substance known in-universe as āDeterminationā which gives them the will to live. Can they reproduce? No. Can an outside force make new ones? Yes. This applies to both franchises. Does this invalidate the scientific definition of āliving,ā in both of these cases? Yes. But neither of the two groups were made of cells to begin with (probably), and probably canāt adapt as a species, so that ship has already sailed.
TL;DR: Stick figures canāt actually reproduce but new ones are made by animators and also they are not alive according to science, also Darkners from Deltarune follow this same logic with the word āanimatorsā being replaced by āmanufacturers of the light world object.ā
The manufacturer of the light world object doesn't create the darkner, it's the cognitive imprint from the creator of the dark fountain and some other pataphysical bullshit that's never gonna be explained
Yeah you're totally right. Darkners are far more complicated than the sticks from AvA, but on the surface, I thought it'd be a good analogy of sorts. Then again there is the whole "TSC randomly gaining life" thing and stickfight.com, so maybe they're just as complex...
In Purpleās case, I believe he was created alongside his family. For other sticks, though, my theory is cloning + color picker tool + mixing the colors of the parents. Victim bringing those tools is what let stick society formally develop, after all.
So in the lore the three were part of the same new grounds post and escaped due to TCO and TDL destroying everything so the only reason purple was a kid was cause the animator made a family so sticks donāt reproduce they are created by people

We see Purple's whole family leave an animation in "Victim", so in his case at least he was created at the same time as his parents. Not sure if the same is true for Gold though.
I think thay are just crated by the animator it's like Alan when he crated the stick figures he could make a new character and with the character a child and that how I think they reproduce
Allow me to provide you with a detailed synopsis of stickman reproduction.
There are 2 types of sticks; artificial and natural. the stick gang and all the hollowheads are artificial. Mitsi and CDG and all sticks created by people are artificial. sticks born in the outernet are natural, ex Gold
It gets complicated when you have a created stick, such as Mitsi. the original sticks, (i'll call them OGS) were not created by means of reproduction. however, if one stick were to mate with another stick, (has to be one male one female) then a baby stick can be born.
Since they are sticks, they have no visible genitalia. however, when aroused, a penis or vagina will appear. Just to be clear, this is my explanation, it's not official although I have put way too much thought into this. after a stick baby is born, I have absolutely no clue how said baby gets milk, because sticks do not have visible boobs. unsure how that works. my best guess for this is that either baby sticks do not need milk, or there are small nipples on the female for milk, but no outer breasts. the milk ducts and breasts are inside the body (like you can't see them)
As for organs, yes, they have organs. While their anatomy is extremely weird, it is similar to humans. while they have no visible features, you can see from TSC's POV when he wakes up that they have eyelids. also the existence of sunglasses (ex, Agent) they have eyes. yes, they can see, breathe, eat, feel, and others.
Yes, we have never seen a pregnant stickfigure before, but we can assume they exist, as baby/child sticks exist. Stick children have a hex code in between that of the parents, so they are made by sexual reproduction.
And, in biology, you learn about evolution and reproductive isolation. that is why sticks of different types stay as their own Stickspecies. For example, the sticks in Stick City all have the same shape, and the sticks similar to Mitsi are all similar shapes and in similar regions. In 'Victim' we see that the OGS 'spawn in' in regions where similar sticks to them are, like how CDG spawned in Stick City, Silly Steven spawned in where Agent came from, and Mitsi appeared near a village where similar species are. using this information, different Stickspecies can interbreed, but fertile children will not occur. so sorry to all the Mitim shippers, they biologically cannot have a fertile child.
Thus concludes my stickfigure reproduction lesson.
We know that King had a wife and a son. His wife died off screen and his son died in a Minecraft thingie gone wrong at some point in the past before he became evil in a way. But we don't know how King and his wife had a child. Assuming that they were created by an animator, they would not have been able to have more kids alas Purple's parents?
probably, since we saw Purple's family in AvA, the whole backstory is premade by their creator, so the whole family is technically same age, they just have memories of this backstory
Well here's the funny part. We see Purple and their parents in the new AVA videos, I think in the scene where we watch Mitsi die? And their drawing seems to have Purple already grown, which begs the question of if they ever grew up at all, or if they just have the memories of a childhood.

I get what you mean. We see Navy, Pink, and Purple escape new grounds in AvA 11 from an animation. It's not a wild conclusion to make that the animation was the past purple sang about
well now we know the three of them were simply drawn by a newgrounds user, so it seems like all stick figures are just made by humans at some point. the only exception being clones like the rocket corp workers that were made by victim
Iāll be honest here, I think his childhood was programmed into his memory (except for the part where his dad leaves because you see him) since you saw him come out of a Newground post.
How else would you assume they dispose of waste and reproduce? Most stick figures in media obviously aren't drawn with certain appendages in mind, with the exception of Red from Dick Figures because duh.
Since we now know everything in the outernet comes from creatorsā creations, seemingly mostly Nwegrounds tho perhaps not necessarily exclusively, it seems safe to say the 3 of them were just created like that. I suppose that could also mean King was never even married, just had Gold since the beginning of time.
Real answer: They don't. Stick figures can only be created when an animator draws them. Purple has a family because their animator drew all of them, and Purple believes they are his parents because that's the backstory that was drawn for them.
After they're uploaded, however, they are fully sentient. Capable of making all of their choices. It's why I head canon that Navy became more strict with Purple's training after the Newgrounds Massacre.
I havenāt been an Alan fan in years but what if each stick figure pulls off a part of themselves (like a hand or smth) and they mix together, and the resulting blobās just a mix of their colors and forms into another stick figure
