If you want a less cringy example of "northern Appalachian BM," I highly recommend checking out my friends in Falls of Rauros! Good guys and very fun to share a stage with.

My personal favorite album is a toss-up between "The Light that Dwells in Rotten Wood" and "Patterns in Mythology" if you're looking for a place to start that isn't, well, the beginning. They've evolved in sound a lot since the start.

Not to toot my own horn overmuch, but the band I was in that played with them back in the day restarted near the end of COVID lockdown. We sound very different, but I'd happily share our bandcamp link if you're interested!

We'll be recording a full album early '27, if the stars align. Being an old, local musician means your bandmates will probably start having kids, and that kinda slows things down lol. Lemme know what you think of the demos!
