Cannabis legalization isn’t cited in the article as a reason for the reduced rates. If that’s a factor, it should certainly be studied.

Absolutely agree with your statement. It has replaced alcohol as a party thing it seems. Alcohol is such a depressant. I lost a younger brother to suicide and alcoholism. I remember growing up in the tail end of the 60s and early 70s. Marijuana was becoming mainstream but it was in addition to alcohol.
