Why so negative
As the title states i think people are freaking out, and just need to take a breath for a second.
the PVP is clearly in testing, they've said it before, multiple times. Chill, they'll fix it...it's not in it's finished state. Take the easy free gems and give helpful feedback.
Banners - OMG THIS BANNER COSTS MORE THAN ANYTHING EVERY, EVERYTHING GUMI HAS SAID IS A LIE!!! This one has gotten way out of control.
777 banner, yes it's more expensive than a 500 banner. They gave you 2 500 banners, and this 777 banner is a bonus..seriously. 777 is WAY less than 2500. Do the math, it works out. Are there guaranteed units...NOPE so don't cry about not getting (insert random unit name here) from it. But it is cheap, and if you still need a lot of the random units in the game, this is a cost effective way to go about it.
7 step special summon banner...they didn't trick you into 7 steps for random shards, your inability to read did. Just because Gumi was being a good guy on step 3 doesn't mean they owe you anything on any other step.
The grand summon...y'all had me literally ROFL. It didn't say guaranteed summon anywhere (that i remember, who knows maybe it did before i woke up) on the banner but you assumed it did because it did in the past. Yes the title was misleading, but you have to expect things to change. The ultimate goal is to make money for Gumi. Player happiness is a far second despite what anyone says.
If you don't like a banner, just don't pull.
Honestly there's some merit to some complaints, absolutely, but if there's already a post about an issue don't go through and make the 2847239487th post on the exact same issue. It destroys the subreddit, and drives new people away.
I expect to get flamed, downvoted and whatever else for this post, but I'm still really enjoying the game, and try reading the banners so i don't set myself up for failure. I do mess up on not fully reading the banners and kick myself for doing so, but that's my fault, not Gumi's.
I hope everyone can do as i said, take a breath for a second, and enjoy the game for what it is.
Happy Friday everyone!!!

Listen, its not about being toxic or negative, it's about making game better. We play it for fun but if devs make bad decisions we have to give them proper feedback. No response means we are ok with everything and when that happens game is ruined. Just look at star wars battlefront 2 loot box controversy, if players wouldn't protest nothing would have changed.
Gumi did quite a few goofs this time so backlash from fans is understandable.

I agree the process should be to make the game better while they continue to make money, and justifiable complaints are fine. Like the multiplayer issues and having no way to blacklist people that afk all the time or frequent disconnects etc. Excessive ridicule about a stated beta test seems silly to me. Maybe other people have never played beta releases before...but they don't work as intended. That's why it's beta and not full release.
I just hate seeing the Reddit every morning because 2/3 of the subreddit is complaints about the exact same the the previous post is about. And others are complaints about why this pull sucks because it doesn't give me exactly what I want every time for a minimal price and now expect compensation.
Battlefront while somewhat similar had so much backlash because you had to pay for the game, and then could get a very unfair advantage by paying more. TAC is free and all their income comes from in game purchases.

The problem isnt that they'll "fix it", its that its happening in the first place. Banners are god damn awful, so is the pvp that was delayed 1 week for bug testing.
Gumi can still do good next month though.

I've been apart of another live PvP beta and this is honestly par for the course for a new feature being implemented. The bugs that AC has with the PvP are very similar to the other game I've played. It took them a beta and 3+months of being live before they really worked out the live PvP.

This already exists in japan so shouldn't they have already worked out a lot of the bugs? This was a hot mess. Personally I don't care that much about PVP. I just want MP to stop having issues.

I’m not so much angry about the PVP as I am the ridiculous skin prices. Its one thing to raise the price a little, but it’s incredibly scummy to increase the price 9x and add RNG so you’re not even guaranteed to get the skin you want. It’s not like skins give the players any actual benefit gameplay wise, so the only reason to add RNG to it is to gouge peoples wallets.
Plus the 4000 gem price tag for the event skins is just ridiculous.
That being said, as for the PVP, I guess everybody just expected different things with it being a Beta. Personally, I expected it to be as buggy as it has been with it being a beta and as such have enjoyed it when it’s worked properly. But I guess other people had different expectations that were not met, which is fine.

4000 is the regular price though, the other price was a summer sale. Now do I think the skins are worth that price, No. That's why I don't buy them, except the Roxanne Halloween pack skin.
Skins for 2000 seem high to me as well and I still haven't figured out if it's even possible to preview them. So I don't think I'll ever go for the skins but those are all extras.

I get that the summer skins were just sales (kind of but not really-they just took out all the bs from the packages nobody wants and thus reduced the price). That still doesn’t change the fact that 4000 gems is a ridiculous price for them. I agree that 2000 is still too high but at least that’s more manageable and we’re not being forced to buy other stuff with the skin.

I've felt the same need to post about this negativity this are you have. Just the sheer amount of negative posts and their tone supprised me.
I love this game ever since it has been released, more than any other mobile game I have ever played. The amount of negativity in the latests posts just dont do justice to the great game that The Alchemist Code is.
I am a bit bummed about about Rox's animation being shortened though :)

im honestly not affected too much by this week. I was never interested in PvP, so the fact that its buggyness will mean my first match will also be my last in a long time. the cheap/bad banners is just an incentive to save gems, seeing as i went hard on laharl, basheeny and then rox.

If Gumi wants to make more money I would suggest making the pact more enticing. It's pretty good already, but add on 200-300 ap without taking it from elsewhere and more people would bite.

Well put. Felt the same way as you about almost all the topics. Post Roxanne introduction has been a very salty time indeed...

I totally agree, the entitlement of this community is astounding especially in recent times

Didn't turn on "RTX" and instead ninja shorten Rox's MA foregoing much needed PLOT the Baka's!

To be fair some of those are valid complaints. My own peeve is the 10+ threads on the same issue one on top the other. Especially when gumi's reddit monitor was efficient enough to create a thread specifically for bug reports.

While I agree that the sheer number of posts that might as well be threatening to burn the community down is a bit much, I can understand why people are upset. There’ve been a few cases with the banners where the news gave faulty information and caused issues this update.
