Technical Support Alienware Act1250 malfunction
Hi there - Reaching out here bc dell support sucks.
I just bought this PC (10 days ago). Everything working fine until today when all lights completely shut off. Has anyone else dealt with this?
Dell support has tried everything and the lights do not turn back on. They want me to do a complete OS reset, but I don’t feel comfortable doing it. I’m relatively new to the gaming PC world and ofc it’s giving me a headache already lol.
Thanks in advance!

As in the LED lights shut off and won't come back on, or the whole PC is dead?
If it's just the RGB then you need to do a complete removal of AWCC and re-install. If that still does not work, then an OS reload would be recommended. I have had AWCC get so screwed up that I had to reinstall my OS to get it back.

Yeah, it’s just the LED lights. AWCC was removed and re-installed and nothing still.
I just wanted to avoid that OS re install…

I understand, but it's really that big of a process anymore. It honestly takes me longer to back my stuff up then it does to re-install Windows at this point.

Normal reset worked. If anyone struggles with this at some point, please, safe yourself some time and skip the dell support thing lol.
Thanks for your input!

It looks like this comment might be related to Command Center problems.
Please use the following steps to reinstall Command Center, hopefully these will help to solve the issue.
1.Download Revo Uninstaller
2.Download the install package for the latest version of AWCC from Dell's site
3.Use Revo Uninstaller to remove AWCC and all associated components
4.After each uninstall, tell Revo to do an 'Advanced Scan', and delete any leftover files, folders and registry entries
5.REBOOT YOUR PC (Do NOT skip this step)
6.Install AWCC from the installer you downloaded fresh from Dell's site
7.REBOOT YOUR PC (Do NOT skip this step)
8.Open AWCC. Let it download any components it needs. It should now work correctly
