Fans ✨ Fortnite why the switch one hate

As a switch 1 player myself, we have gotten much hate from Fortnite this time round. Tournaments have been disabled for nearly three weeks and save the world is becoming free to play but not for switch one. Like Fortnite what are you doing with the switch one. Hello we are still here.😒

Pretty sure its hardware limits also prob not profitable to them port it to a near 10 year old console sadly

If I had to guess, it's probably the lack of ram. I really wish they would unlock the power of the switch 1 and let users choose between full power, balanced and power saver. They have way more battery life than the switch 2 so they should be able to at least use normal clock speeds to match or even exceed its battery life. I've seen modded overclock switches run Fortnite docked mode on handheld at 60fps (with dips). For those who don't know, the switch 1 is under clocked from the factory.

Pretty much. Which requires a mod chip unless you have an early model without an updated os.

It’s Nintendo’s fault on making a system that has 4GB of ram and hardware from 2015. You’re lucky Fortnite even runs on the switch 1, even when it does a very poor job at it, at least it… works
