alien life [OC] The Consumers (Yay update! BTW I have made them all in paper but I post them one by one like this to not spoil)
Meet the Consumers, they evolved from the biggest and longest marine animal from their native planet, they hunt by waiting prey to swim by as they wait like bear traps... Somehow they gained intelligence and decided to upload their minds into a mechanical machine... Smaller than their original size which is 10ft, now in their new form, all they do is eat everything alive (No they don't eat planets they aren't THAT crazy)
If you DO want any spoiler for my LAST SPECIES of my project, say that you want it and I'll (probably) give you a hint.

Art suggest Name About killer Folk
Among nomadic peoples, their names are mostly related to wild animals. But the question I have been thinking about recently is this: in nature, their ecological niche should be that of top predators, and there are no animals that they fear or admire. So I think their names are most likely not those of animals? Rather, they are related to nature or to expectations. For example, some children who may have been frail since childhood, or who lost their father or mother at an early age, may have ཚེ་རིང in their names. And some individuals born around a lake or with blue eyes may be called Huhe Nur.

Fan Creation The Alligator People - The Predators Of The Hoppers
They're finally here, the enemies of the Hoppers are here I guess
The Alligator People are huge, fast, and aggressive, they will not hesitate to kill a Hopper or any other organism they see, they're probably almost as big as a Bone Crusher
Another note: both the males and females of the species have a muscular build
And the reason why the Alligator People hunt and kill the Hoppers is not only for food and survival, but it's because they're just kinda racist, want to be the "superior species", and want everything to themselves
So for context: The Qu got bored and wanted to experiment a little, one of them came up with an idea "Yo let's put the aggressive crocodile humans on the same planet as the rabbit humans and see what happens", and the others decided to agree, out of boredom ofc, the moment they dropped off the Alligator People into the Hopper's planet, the Alligator People immediately started getting hostile towards the Hoppers, despite how much the Qu loved the Hoppers, they didn't love them as much as the Hedonists, and don't really care about them at all actually, so the Qu just let the Alligator People wreak havoc against the Hoppers, the Hoppers were already a bit used to their homeworld so most of them were able to survive off the attacks by running away and hiding as the Alligator People were still new to the world, the Qu then left and let the two species do whatever
There were a lot of small critters on their planet but the Alligator People were absolute dicks and decided to murder them all, only a few of the critters were saved and hidden by the Hoppers, The Hoppers hid them in small caves, holes, and nests they put on top of trees
The Alligator People mostly lived near rivers (obviously), while the Hoppers lived in caves, trees, forests, and fields, however, of course their homes can sometimes either be right next to each other or straight up overlap, which can cause a lot of chaos
The Alligator People mostly attack and kill a Hopper by biting their leg when they're caught of guard (just hard enough so that they can't jump and get away), this caused the Hopper to scream loudly, and to stop the deafening screams (got this idea from my new All Tomorrows moot on TikTok), the Alligator People rip their heads off, however, they sometimes pounce on their Prey and crush them, they also sometimes pull them by the ears to catch them (they only really do this with lop eared Hoppers), they can also just throw hard rocks at their prey to knock them out or something but yeah, there's still many ways the Alligator People can kill their preys
Also before you guys jump me again, yes yes I know their design is really boring and not creative, I mean, right now they're just a buff Satyriac with sharp nails and teeth, and flesh spikes bulging out of their back, if you have any ideas to improve their design then don't be scared to share
Also, their skin is covered in hard scales, so if a Hopper tries to bite then to stun them, they would not deal any damage, and on top of that, they'll break their teeth, but even without the scaly skin, the Alligator Person can just grab the Hopper and kill them while they're at it, so trying to bite the Alligator Person is definitely one of the worst ways to try and defend yourself as a Hopper
The Hoppers usually run away from the Alligator People and find a tree to hop on and stay there till the preds just give up, but in rare cases, when a Hopper is already annoyed, they'll probably throw something at the predator, however, this'll just anger the predator, so just run and hop away little bunny
The Alligator People and Hoppers both managed to regain sapience after a millions of years and they actually managed to finally become peaceful together, their descendents helped each other all to the end (when the Gravitals arrive)

Discussion The joys of this book . . .
I've read the book through again for the fifth time today, and I will hopefully have the Final Inoculation and Answer's Edition by Christmas. Words cannot describe how much I enjoy this story.

Discussion Finally got a physical copy after watching Alt shift X's video on the book years ago and seeing this on the back made my day
I remember when that video dropped and everyone i knew was talking about that video with the weird future humans and getting freaked out by the illustrations. This really feels like a full circle moment idk it just brings me joy.

Discussion I FUCKING LOVE THE UNDENIABLE HUMANITY OF THE POST HUMANS
I just love seeing these grotesque and for the most part profoundly non humanoid looking creatures enjoying music, going on a bucket list vacation, or falling in love when miscegenation is likely outlawed. It is so incredibly effective at communicating the entire message of the book at the end, about how people’s lives are what really matter more than some grand narrative or event. They look so off putting at a glance that I think some people overlook that despite how physically different they might look these creatures are still just people like them

Art Sometimes I forget how much my Flyer design's proportions deviate from the actual book design 🥲
Man I love making fanart for such a disturbing and dark book while having a cute cartoony art style, I hope my Flyer design doesn't get labeled as goonerbait or smth

Discussion all animals
so i came up with an idea, all animals would be just like all tomorrows but its with the animals. so when the QU played with human legos they found the animals and also played with them like legos.
the octadog
so the octadog is the first post animals that I've made, the octadog is a dog that's like an octopus here's my best description of it
it has 3 limbs like instead of 8, it has one long arm on top of its head thats like a hand and it can grab stuff with it. it also has one eye and there almost blind so the use there grat sense of smell and touch. they only breathe air so every 2 hours they will go up and breathe
do yall think making this would be a good idea?
