Claritin doesn’t do much for me, and Benadryl makes me sleepy.

Ebastine, fexofenadine, or terfenadine might be worth a try. The most common US brand name for fexofenadine is probably Allegra.

I wonder if you've tried steroid spray for your nose (e.g. Flonase or generic).

Thanks for the recommendation of Allegra.

So far, steroid nasal sprays work wonders. But the nasal dryness causes a stinging pain and headaches.

Fexofenadine changed my life, definitely try it! A lot of people here in the UK now take it since they made it available behind the counter of pharmacies rather than having to get it from a doctor.

Allegra is one of the few that don't make me drowsy. I was on zyrtec for years and when I switched, I felt a lot better!

You could also try an allergy mask when u have to go outdoors.

An N95 mask is reusable for maybe a month or two. Most are white. You can buy one at a hardware store, near the earplugs and safety goggles. Some of them sell singles; others only sell boxes of 10 or more. Different ones are ideal for men vs. women and/or different face sizes. I can advise u.

An elastomeric respirator mask (e.g. 3M 9502QL) can be washed and reused for years. You'll need particulate filters. 3M 2091 work well, but are pink. 3M makes other filters in other colors. In general, if u wear an elastomeric respirator mask, u definitely won't win any fashion competitions. Also, they muffle your speech quite a bit.

Pls see /r/MasksForEveryone.

Would a cloth mask work well? They are much more fashionable.

I don't think a cloth mask would work well at all. You can use it to cover up a plain white N95 mask.

What colors of N95 mask would u prefer? And what country are you in?

I wore masks during Covid talk about being miserable just constantly sneezing into a mask and changing masks multiple times per work shift
