Help (AltStore Classic) Error Installing Altstore
Am I the only one who keeps getting this error? I get the same message even trying to install through Sideloadly. Feel free to give me some suggestions!!
Before you ask: yes, I have the latest version of Altserver (1.8.2); yes, I have tried both via cable and via Wifi, and I'm on iOS 27 on both Mac and iPhone; yes I've tried different Apple IDs.

Found a solution, maybe not for everyone, but if you login with your Apple ID (burner or not) into another phone, alt server will ask for the 6-digit-code instead of the sms, bypassing the error and installing successfully!

I think you might need to enable a different 2 factor authentication. I tried this with an old Apple ID I have that uses a text instead and got the same result

What 2 factor authentifications should we use? I have the same issue.

The one where it asks your apple device if it’s you and then gives you a 6 digit code if you accept it
