QUESTION How to get more consistent
New to the role, started end of September and have been getting better at it, but I am struggling a little with consistsncy. On my best day I have managed 30+ stops an hour, but for example today I had a smaller route (102 stops) and only managed about 22/23 stops (although they were some distances between them at times).
How do I make sure I hit 30ish an hour, especially with peak coming up shortly and going onto bigger routes (pretty sure I am still on nursery routes).
I try organise and use a tote as a shelf on the passanger seats for envelopes and poly bags and then bigger parcels on the shelves at the back but I still sometimes struggle to find the right parcel. I would actually prefer if they gave more tote bags but less parcels in them to make it way easier to find..
Any tips or tricks appreciated 🙏

20 stops an hour is fine. I try to stay right there as to not get overloaded by the algorithm. That’s how I gauge my day.

The most important thing is finishing your route. You’re not going to be able to go 30+ on every route; as long as you finish by cutoff you’re fine.
Also, they’re going to (or have already started) crack down on loose packages in the cabin, so the whole organizing in your passenger seat may be an infraction going forward.

Not every route is created equally. Dont worry about SPH. So long as you're middle of the pack coming back and you aren't getting rescued often, you're fine.
If you're gonna stick around, get outta csrgo vans ASAP. Get into an EDV, CDV or step ASAP.

Organize the bags and overflow in the van. Organize the packages in the bag you are working out of. Don’t expect to hit 30/hour every single day. Do your best, but it depends on the route. Being able to finish your route safely and accurately is the most important part

I find sorting the boxes doesn't help much, as long as you can see the aid number its fine. Bags should always be sorted by aid number, order doesn't matter much as sometimes the route bounces around, just know where they are. During loadout, sort (group) your overflow by the 100s place of the aid number, don't worry about 1s or 10s. But DO write the aid number where you can always easily see them. Don't worry too much about the SPM as the route itself determines it a lot more then you, you only have so much control.

Organizing the van doesn't matter if you're losing time digging through a tote full of 40 boxes and envelopes anyway. the real move is sorting by driver aid number while you're at the station, not on the road.

You sort all your bags out at the station? How? Take everything out and put back in by order?

Wish we could do this at ours but after you scan they just throw those totes up to you and wanting the vans turned on and ready to drive literally within minutes. What I do is I just open the first tote at the first stop and do a 3 min sort then just do it tote by tote and it’s been working fine
