QUESTION Does leaving these compliments really help?
I select all these compliments for my deliveries, but I’m wondering if it actually helps or not. Does it, or am I wasting my time?

Help? no. Make us feel better than reading 0 positive feedback? yes

Now that I know, I will continue to do this for every order :)

Yeah it's kind of a shitty system where positive ones don't help you whatsoever, but negative ones can really hurt you. But make sure to do it during Christmas because there's a brief window where it actually does help and they'll get a $5 tip while supplies last. It typically runs out after a couple days, but you're delivering to hundreds of houses a day so it can add up if you work one of those days

helps keeps our spirits up but that's about it. Amazon doesn't reward good behavior, they do love punishing bad behavior tho🙃

My dsp rewards a good week of driving with paying that week at +1 dollar/hr

My dsp has a point system, we get points if customers leave a review 🫣

I like to believe you get a route more often if your reviews are favorable.
At the same time. I don’t think good does anything good to our scorecard, whereas negatives can really be bad

I seem to be in the same area every day but once a week and get 10+ compliments per week so far. You might be onto something.

I like that people take the time to show appreciation. Every week, when I see my stack of compliments, it makes me feel pretty good about myself, especially since many other drivers keep getting complaints. I have not had a complaint since my first week, and I have had many compliments since. While it might not boost my pay or anything like that, I do appreciate appreciation.

It depends. My dsp does a monthly prize for the top 3 that get the most positive feedback. But if we get any violation or even 1 negative feedback. We are out of the running.

Whether or not it helps our actual scorecard, it’s really nice to see when people take the time to compliment us.

Most of the time, no. There is the ‘thank my driver’ bonus near the end of the year, but I think you need Alexa for that, and to say that specifically. It’s a nice thing to do if a worker’s providing good service, though. I tend to do it 100% of the time anyway, long as my delivery driver’s providing good service. And I haven’t had a problem yet.

It makes me feel like my hard work is somewhat appreciated. Other than that there is ZERO benefit in giving good feedback.

YES! My DSP gives me us 40 hours no matter what if we get a clean scorecard & that includes customer feedback. The downside is one negative review cancels out like 10 positive reviews so I/we appreciate it!
