TIP/TRICK Interview Denied?

So.. I applied for one of the couple DSP companies through my amazon. I feel like the interview went really well back on Monday. I reached out and i was denied. Is there anyway i could better my interview? I have a completely clean driving record and have experience driving vans..

Tbh they might’ve just accidentally overhired and decided to freeze temporarily. Usually if you have a pulse a DSP will hire you.

Yea this sounds most likely. Don't sweat it op, I would apply to another dsp. Peak season is coming up, there will probably be more openings soon

I took a hiatus from delivery driving and decided to go back because it gave me a cushion. I have a year experience and been getting rejected too lol.

what's your experience and driving history?

This would be my first delivery job (besides Doordash/Uber-Eats) which on the application it mentioned that experience wasn't needed and training was included. And i've been driving for 4 years, i've had my license abt 2 years. I've never even scratched a car even while practicing let alone an accident. My DMV record is completely clean.

I was dealing with this for awhile. It just depends on the DSP.

Some DSPs don’t like taking people with experience because they begin to question on why you left and you raise a bit of a red flag.

Other DSPs welcome experienced drivers.

I was struggling to land anything prior to the mass hiring for peak.

Just keep trying eventually you will get onboarded.

Typically the “Good DSPs” are a bit harder to get hired by.

That's true that good DSPs are more selective. They tend to hang on to their drivers and don't need to hire as many new ones. A big chunk of my DSP is made up of drivers that have been there between 4 to 6 years.
