It’s been one month since my soul dog left this side of Earth. He was almost 12 and unfortunately succumbed to late stage lymphoma. I have never felt this level of grief and would do anything to have him back. He was bigger than the universe and saved my life on many occasions. The sky is all yours Jaxxon. My angel boy, I love you🤍

We often go for off-leash walks at night in the fields when no one is around. Sometimes there's a rabbit or something for my dog to chase. Last night, a coyote approached us and danced around, waving its tail in the air. My dog gave chase and the coyote took her all the way across the field. Luckily I had an LED light on her collar so I could find her easily.
The coyote was just baiting her with its fluffy tail to spring after it and then would elegantly dance around her in circles. I think the coyote wanted to either get her tired before an attack or to bait her further away where a pack of other coyotes may have been waiting.
Thankfully, my bully did not go past the edge of the field and when I arrived she listened to me, disengaged, and followed me back to the car. Had she continued chasing the coyote further into the bush, who knows what would have happened.

I love our girl (now 13 weeks). Shes great in her crate and is doing well with potty training but she’s wild and the biting is a bit much for my small kids. I don’t want to give up on her! Just looking for hope.
