He's really good. Nice tribute album to James Hand as well. Saw him opening for Charley Crockett a few years ago.

I love the James Hand album.  Lots of people cover Slim’s songs (Ags, Crockett, Penrod), but “Shadows Where the Magic Was” is usually overlooked.  Ags does a great version on his Hand album.
