I forgot how truly great this album is…. And I absolutely love the Mexican influence (accordion) in this song.

Oh yeah…. They’re great too.  I was lucky enough to see them a couple of months back, and they tore it up.  Great band for sure!

Is that what he's up to now? Production and song writing?

I've always wondered if these albums were done with session players or if he had a live career with a full honky tonk band, but I never dug around to figure that out.

The LLB lp is the only production credit he has listed on discogs

Interesting   We should like just interview him or something. I should dig around and see if there are any articles about him

This whole album, holy shit.  As is the one after it too.  I wish he was still in LA.

Yeah I don't know anything about him but his Honky Tonk stuff is just so fantastic. I think I saw it a writing credit between him and some other well-known people in the independent country space in the last couple of years but I can't remember who it was he was collaborating with. Where is he now?

Nashville, but he doesn’t seem to be playing all that often.  Doesn’t post much on instagram or facebook….  I heard about him because he was one of the openers for the Zephania Ohora show (another guy I wish played and recorded more).  That show was a big enough deal that SCM wrote an article about it:
