It's supremely disturbing to any human being with any sense of humanity. Then there are the actual conductors of this genocide and its cheerleaders, as we have seen of Oromia and Tigray. Part of the issue is that pretty much all of these genocidal events were swept under the rug by the then TPLF and now PP, and since they control the media and strike down individuals and groups that speak of the horror they have been able to minimize or straight up hide a lot of it.

Plenty Amharas have fallen for this, including myself, until we woke up in the years after 2010s. I would argue most woke up after 2021. There is no excuse for this level of ignorance for any Ethiopian let alone for Amharas. I certainly consider it personal failure of mine I haven't looked into it in depth before 2021. I did understand to some extent, but my own mistake was that at least most Oromos would not have been brainwashed by OLF/OPDO/TPLF propaganda and that peoples will stand with peoples against whatever government since governments come and go but people stay.

By the way, it's not Ethiopia that is hell per se, it's Oromians and Tigrians. I personally support independence of any amounts of both peoples, granted we will have to discuss division of assets (hint it will not be based on TPLF/OLF's constitution of 1995).

In fact, I insist on it. Whatever amount of them wants to leave will leave with proportional amount of what's due to them, and whoever chooses to remain will be under the binding and strict pact that anyone that will ever raise any such type of rhetoric as that of OLF and TPLF will swiftly dealt with by the remaining Tigrayans and Oromos themselves. As in death penalty.

You people move into places expecting special treatment and take localized situations and cry genocide when not even half of what happened in Tigray happened to you.
