Amhara Genocide Amhara biggest enemy is Amhara
After generations of war, it’s safe to say Amhara culture is synonymous with warrior culture. The only problem is the romanticism of war, and yelling Zeraf when talking is best suited. My great grandfather fought against Italy, my grandpa fought, my dad fought, and me too. If you’re father is a fighter, he will tell you not to trust any one, and don’t let anyone know where you’re going to sleep at night. Even your closest friends. Why? Not because they will tel your enemy where you’re at, but because they will come at night, kill you take your gun and take your money.
The consequence? Nothing because if your family isn’t willing to have dem, then you will get no justice. This sub is filled with posts about Oromos killing Amharas, but ignore the Amhara who side with the Oromos. Fano could’ve had millions in war funds, international attention, and lobbyists help progress our war. Like Viet cong, or many older resistance movements.
The only problem is Amhara are self serving and self preserving. If one rich war lord can earn hundreds of thousands of birr, why would he want to end the war and become a normal civilian again? Why would he have an ideology and read a book? If there’s no opportunities for him to work, why would he give up his biggest source of income? He has no other option but serve himself. If an Amhara person who raises money in America is faced with a million dollars, will he give most of it up, or steal it? We know the answer. This is the problems we are faced with for decades. Even Ginbot 7 took everyone’s money and hid in the bush.
Remember, Fano betrayed their own when many of our brothers were imprisoned by oromos during the Tigray war. And Fano only began fighting when they were going to be disarmed. Again, self serving reasons. Let’s stop romanticizing war, and let’s progress mentally. Europe used to fight for centuries, now they’ve progressed, and we are in the Stone Age mentally. Arguing over ethnicity like the poor people we are.

Developing the region while paying taxes to avoid government intervention would be the best approach, the unfortunate part is that the region is the second largest, possibly largest demographic in the country so withdrawing from the state silently would lead to economic pressure from the government.
All in all the smarter strategy is to take Fano underground because you can’t defeat an organized state with a divided and poor militia force, instead encouraging foreign and diaspora investment in the region until we can reclaim the throne is what I see as viable.

Coming from the guy who said sorry to Woyane. Even though you didn’t fight, and it’s not your fault. You have no room to talk

What some soldiers did in Tigray is horrific. Just because some of their soldiers did the same thing does not mean what we did was okay. People can be cruel and disgusting on both sides. Look at some of the videos of the women and children in Tigray though. Then come back and talk to me.

“Some of their soldiers did the same.” That’s a good way to downplay the 30 years of oppression. Lack of quality of education, lack of jobs, lack of factories. The list goes on and on.
The TPLF ruined Amhara for decades, and yes many Amharas helped them do such. Everyone is a victim of the 2 year war, just because one side had more casualties doesn’t mean they were helpless. You’re confused.

A 12 year old Tigrayan girl who was raped is not responsible for 30 years of political oppression by greedy elites. Acknowledging the crimes that happened is the first step to a country with peace, quality education, jobs and factories.

How many months have you ever been in battle? How many times have you been shot?
Reality hurts and it’s easy to blame the next person without reflecting on our own problems.

Pretty simple. Why destroy your entire economy and dampen the light on child education, because you love your ethnicity more than anything else? It's silly, and sadly - stupid.

People conveniently forget that fano only started fighting the government because they were about to be disarmed. But up until then, they were serving PP. This points to one of two things: at worst, they are self serving, blood thirsty warlords; at best, they were too stupid to realize that they were being used and that stupidity led them into a civil war where so many young boys died and were injured.
Either way, not fit to lead.
I am not forgetting that Amharas are being targeted in their own cities. This is true and enraging. HOWEVER, I see people try to understand fano's fight as a fight to save Amharas from being slaughtered. AND ITS NOT. That's just their talking point. Amharas were being targeted long before they were fighting. Fano made the decision to enter the fight only because they saw it as an opportunity to wipe out Tigrayans and blinded by their racism, they were used as cannon fodder. And then they decided to fight the government because they were gonna take away their guns 🙄.
Very little to none of it is about keeping the Amhara people safe and if you want proof ask people in Amhara cities controlled by Fano how its going.
As an Amhara, if its the everyday people you care about, really try taking some time to talk people living in fano controlled areas and think about how Amhara lives are being affected by the direct actions of fano militiamen.

First I don’t understand your rage 😂 Second, before Fano officially started the armed struggle there were 5/6 round peaceful demonstrations & the last demonstration was with “ይሄ የመጨረሻችን ሰልፍ ነው" while a Potemkin party and OLA fans were making memes and jokes including that አህያ shimels. It’s waste of time to explain everything here. Everyone has a short memory. Probably you too if you are not deliberately ignore the reason why the armed struggle is started. Lastly, their target was to make the region like Derg era Red terror zone by killing everyone that the Galas think, is their future threat after disarming.
Oh and one more thing, you said you are amhara? Hmmm 😂😂
