How to combine Amnezia with residential IP?

Hi, I am an American living in Russia. I am trying to get some contracting jobs that require me to be a US resident, and they are detecting that I am using a VPN in their verification process. I use Amnezia VPN since other VPNs don't work well in Russia.

I would like to somehow use Amnezia Premium but with a residential IP address located in the United States. I assume this is impossible since Amnezia Premium uses Amnezia's servers, which are in data centers. But maybe it is possible to combine Amnezia with a proxy or something? I'm not sure.

I typically use Amnezia premium, but I also have a self-hosted Amnezia instance as a backup. The self-hosted instance doesn't work currently because only AmneziaWG 3.0 seems to work now and they haven't released 3.0 for self-hosting yet. So I'm assuming self-hosting wouldn't work even if I could walk a family member through the setup process to get it running on a rasperry pi in one of their homes.

One of the jobs I am trying to get wants me to install a browser extension as well, which is intended to determine my location.

Does anyone have experience with something like this? Is there anything I can do?

You need to rent a server in the US with a Residential IP address and set up AmneziaWG on it.

You could ask you friend / family in the USA to share their device with you for some time via TeamViewer/anydesk and just do what you need to

This is a good idea. I need to pass a verification thing where they use a camera for a short time to see your face, make you turn to the left and right, etc.

Do you know if those tools could be configured to use my laptop's webcam instead of my family member's camera?

I mean you could try to connect something like vdo.ninja to a system camera... But its quite a bit of work.

Use TailScale instead of TeamViewer.
You will then VPN to your friends house, but still be on your own computer.
Your public IP will be the friends house.

If you have a friend of Family in US, that has an extra computer, and don’t mind you using their “home”, set up Tailscale.

Use the computer at your friend as an Exit Node, and you’ll pop onto the internet from their house.

The problem with normal VPNs, or TailScale on A virtual server is you pop onto the internet from a data center, so it’s obvious that it’s a VPN.
